Workflow Canvas

A packaged, embeddable canvas component (one you’d drop into your own admin/dashboard app) isn’t shipped yet — that’s still on the roadmap. What already exists today is a real, working, drag-and-drop visual workflow builder you can use directly.

Try it: play.wetel.dev/tools/workflow-builder/ — describe a workflow in plain English, get back a real, editable node/edge graph (built on ReactFlow), rearrange and reconnect nodes visually, and save it straight into Wetel via the same createWorkflow/updateWorkflow mutations documented in the Admin & Builder API. This is a genuine implementation of the aiGenerateWorkflow mutation documented in the Workflows API Reference, not a mockup.

One honest limitation: the public demo saves into a shared demo tenant, not your own — it’s there to show you the real generate → edit → save flow, not as a production tool for managing your own agents’ workflows. To build the same flow into your own app, read its source (a small vanilla-JS + ReactFlow app, no build step) and point the save step at your own tenant’s credentials.

Not covered by this demo yet: a live execution-trace overlay on the canvas itself (watching NodeExecutingEvents highlight the active node in real time as a session runs) — the underlying subscription exists (see Events & Subscriptions), wiring it into the canvas visually is still planned.
