Every business has a gap between the person who talks to customers and the person who actually knows what’s going on. The front desk smiles but doesn’t know if the workshop is backed up. The chatbot answers questions but has never seen the calendar. So a human ends up doing the actual work: copy-pasting between the tool that talks to people and the systems that know the truth.

We started Wetel to close that gap — not with another chatbot wearing a nicer coat of paint, but with an agent that actually knows what’s happening inside your company, and that stops and asks before it does anything that costs you something.

What’s actually built, and what isn’t

We’re careful about this distinction, on this page more than anywhere else, because an About page that oversells is worse than a homepage that does — this is supposed to be the honest version.

Running in production today: a real state-machine workflow engine — a visual graph with branching logic and tool calls you can inspect node by node, not a prompt you hope holds. Voice and chat agents with genuine mid-sentence interruption, not a queued turn that finishes its sentence over you. Real-time 3D avatar presence. Per-tenant knowledge, isolated down to a dedicated database per tenant when that’s what a deal requires. Real actions against real external systems through a reviewed operations catalog, with credentials that never touch the model. And it’s already the invisible engine inside partner products in customer service, education, and recruitment — not a plan, live traffic.

Actively being built: swipe-to-approve on your phone as a first-class way to greenlight the consequential stuff, approval routing across a team instead of just to one person, and a proper admin control plane.

Where we’re headed, not built yet: a formal policy layer that decides what an agent can do autonomously versus what needs a human’s sign-off, graphs you can version and diff like code, and a marketplace of certified operations other people have already vetted.
